Erastus Asare Donkor, the winner of the 2022 P.A.V Ansah Journalist of the Year award, has been nominated for the West Africa Media Excellence Awards (WAMECA 2023). He’s one of four Ghanaians who made it to the WAMECA nominee list this year. This is a big deal for Erastus, especially after winning two awards at the Ghana Journalists Association Awards for his work on illegal mining in Ghana. The WAMECA finalists were selected by a jury of media experts in Africa, and the winners will be announced in November. Erastus has been receiving a lot of recognition lately, including the PAV Ansah Communication Award and the Environmental Sustainability Personality of the Year award. He’s definitely making a name for himself in the media industry!
