Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State is pushing for a new law to revamp the mining sector. He believes that Nigeria’s future lies in solid minerals and agriculture. The governor expressed these views during a meeting with the House of Representatives Committee on Solid Minerals. He emphasized the need for a comprehensive review of the country’s mineral deposits, taking into account the unique characteristics of each state. The committee chairman, Mr. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi, acknowledged Nasarawa State as the hub of solid minerals.
