Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule, is once again pushing for a more practical and sustainable law to revitalize the mining industry. He believes that Nigeria’s future lies in solid minerals and agriculture. The governor expressed his views during a meeting with the members of the House of Representatives Committee on Solid Minerals. He emphasized the need for a comprehensive review of the mining sector, taking into account the unique characteristics of each state in the country. The committee chairman, Mr. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi, acknowledged Nasarawa State as the hub of solid minerals and highlighted its importance to the committee’s work.
