Remembering the Late Ohinoyi of Ebiraland

The Senate is calling on the government to honour the late Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr. Abdulralman Ibrahim, by naming the Federal College of Education, Okene after him. They also observed a minute of silence in his honour and plan to send a condolence letter to his family. The motion to immortalise him was sponsored by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who was visibly emotional while presenting it. She highlighted the late monarch’s achievements and contributions, emphasizing his role as a bridge-builder and peacemaker. The Senate unanimously approved the motion, with senators eulogizing the late monarch and expressing their support for the proposal.
