folks! So, the Nigerian capital market kicked off the week with a 0.15% drop in the All-Share Index (ASI). The ASI went down by 104 basis points to 71,008.70 after five hours of trading today. Market capitalisation also took a hit, decreasing by N57.31 billion to N39.051 trillion from N39.108 trillion recorded on Friday. The market turnover crashed to N4.36 billion from N6.03 billion in 6,551 deals. In today’s trading, 33 stocks went up, 15 went down, and 66 remained unchanged. MULTIVERSE topped the gainers’ list with a whopping 9.92% rise in share price. Mecure Industries also made it to the gainers’ chart with a 9.95% growth in share price. On the flip side, R.T. Briscoe led the losers’ table with a 9.84% cut in its share price. Prestige Assurance, Stanbic IBTC Holding, and Computer Warehouse (CWG) completed the list with a drop in share prices.
