The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has assured residents of the state that his administration is dedicated to prioritising the construction of infrastructure that directly impacts the economy of the region.

During the commissioning of the 10 kilometres Omi-Adio to Ido Junction Road in Ido, which was constructed by Ido Local Government, Governor Makinde reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting the developmental plans of local government areas in the state. He emphasized the significance of building infrastructure that would contribute to the economic growth of the state.

The governor expressed his gratitude to the local residents for their support and patience during the construction of the road. He acknowledged the economic importance of the new road, highlighting its potential to become an economic hub for the state. Governor Makinde further emphasized the importance of completing infrastructure projects in a timely manner to ensure a positive impact on the economy.
