During a courtesy visit at his office in Alausa, Ikeja, Engr. Abiola Olowu conveyed his appreciation to the President and Council members of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society for their cooperation and support in the past. He reaffirmed that the development and prosperity of the state remain Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s utmost priority and assured the society of the administration’s dedication to promoting knowledge and acting in the best interest of Lagosians.
In response, Prof. Akinade Olatunji, the National President of Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society, extended congratulations to the Special Adviser on his appointment and commended the state government for providing opportunities for their members to practice in Lagos, renowned as the Centre of Excellence. He also lauded the significant number of Geologists employed by the state government and their participation in professional training, workshops, and conferences organized by the society.
