1. The Senate called in the boss of Nigerian Gas Marketing Company Ltd, Justin Ezeala, to explain the details of gas sales and purchase agreements with gas companies. They also want to know about the Auto CNG Project with NIPCO Gas.
2. The Presidency assured Nigerians that they won’t stop working on policies to strengthen the Naira. They’re warning those who are hoarding Naira that they’re in for a surprise.
3. Senator Kashim Shettima is talking big about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s plans for the Niger Delta region. He’s promising some major development there.
4. The Senate also summoned the Education Minister, JAMB Registrar, and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka over alleged admission racketeering. Looks like they’re in some hot water.
5. The House of Representatives is pushing for the government to invest in renewable energy. They think it’s about time we start focusing on sustainable energy.

12. A poll is predicting that the PDP candidate, Senator Duoye Diri, will win the upcoming governorship election in Bayelsa State. Let’s see if the prediction comes true!
13. The PDP and LP governorship candidates in Imo State staged a walkout at an INEC-organized meeting. They’re not happy and they want the state’s Resident Electoral Commissioner redeployed.
14. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is teaming up with other African leaders to explore a new political and governance system for African countries. That’s some big stuff!
15. The Naira took a hit against the US dollar, despite hopes of a recovery. Looks like things are still shaky in the currency market.
