Tragedy Strikes as Illegal Mine Collapses in Nigeria
A collapse at an illegal gold mine in central Nigeria has left one miner dead, with around 30 others trapped as a result of heavy rainfall. The site is believed to operate outside of regulatory oversight. Rescue efforts are ongoing to locate and assist those still trapped in the mine.
