Medical Outreach in Osun: Bringing Hope and Healthcare to Communities

Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL), A Company That Explores And Mines Gold, Has Teamed Up With The Living Hope Care Foundation, A Community-Based Organization, To Offer Free Medical Services To Some Communities In Osun State. This Partnership Has Brought Hope And Healthcare To SROL’s Host Communities, Including Iperindo, Odo-Ijesha, And Imogbara. The SROL Team Led A Two-Day Medical Outreach Program On October 20 And 21, 2023, Providing Screening, Diagnosis, Treatment, And Laboratory Investigations. They Also Received Support From The Osun State TB And Leprosy Control Programme For TB Screening And The Institute Of Human Virology Of Nigeria For Serology Tests. The Program Included Surgical, Obstetrical, And Gynecological Services, As Well As Optical Care. Seun Fagesi, The Human Resources Manager At Segilola Operating Limited, Emphasized The Importance Of The Event, Stating That It Demonstrates Their Commitment To Enhancing The Well-Being Of Their Communities. He Also Mentioned That They Have Been Empowering Youth, Sponsoring Scholarship Programs, And Striving To Improve The Standard Of Living In Their Host Communities. A Total Of 1,200 Cases Were Attended To, Including Optical Cases, Surgical Procedures, And Life-Threatening Emergencies. Oba Bamidele Olowookere, Olumolu Of Imogbara, Expressed Gratitude To The People Of Segilola For Their Support. Princewill Osuchukwu, The Medical Services Manager At Segilola Operating Limited, Affirmed Their Commitment To Providing Surgeries For Individuals With Longstanding Surgical Conditions Who Have Been Unable To Access Care Due To The Cost Of Surgeries.
